IUPUI is my school, which I love. I love it because it has changed me for the better, in my opinion. It has helped me become more outgoing.
In high school, I didn't talk to many people. IUPUI has helped me realize that I should connect with people and has helped me make new friends and meet wonderful professors. I have met wonderful friends like Micah, Kenzie, Kayla, Daniela, Daniel, and others. IUPUI has helped me connect with the Latino Student Association (LSA). To me, this is big deal because we didn't have anything like this in high school.
I am investing my time and money into this school. I had never thought about college like that; this was a whole new idea to me. I just thought college was like school: I just showed up, earn good grades, graduate, and move on. Now I have realized that it is much more than that, and I need to do more to make the most of it.
