Chancellor Nasser H. Paydar formed the IUPUI 50th Anniversary Steering Committee in August 2016, with the goal of generating recommendations to guide planning for the activities, events, and initiatives that would honor our past, celebrate our present, and envision our future.
The committee was co-chaired by Rebecca Porter, former dean of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, and Simon Rhodes, former dean of the School of Science. Other members of the committee included faculty, staff, students, alumni, community representatives, and ex officio members.
