My transition from high school to college was a very strange and stressful experience.
In high school, I already knew people. But for college, all of my close friends went to different schools and I was the only one who chose IUPUI. I knew I was going to have more freedom than I did in high school, but I wasn't expecting it to be this much. I was really worried about how IUPUI was going to be.
Overall, I am very pleased with my choice of going to IUPUI. I have met so many new and awesome people thanks to the classes and clubs I am in. IUPUI has changed me as a person in a lot of ways. In high school, it was very structured, and there was always a certain kind of person you felt like you had to be.
Since coming to IUPUI, I have really embraced the person I have always wanted to be. I have found myself to be more responsible and independent after coming to IUPUI.
