I have had various connections to IUPUI since 1970:
- Staff: RN, Surgical ICU; Nursing Education; Nursing Administration-IU Hospital
- Graduate student: IU School of Nursing Masters Program
- Faculty: IUSON Associate of Arts degree program
- Alumni: IUSON Master's of Science in Nursing 1978; Medical-Surgical nursing with minors in teaching and continuing education
- Community: IUPUI University Library Community Board; Donor
Over this time, I have seen MANY changes in the physical environment, resources, programs, and more (e.g., new buildings replacing parking lots, introduction of computers, initiation of programs such as new media, philanthropy and informatics, expanded on-campus student housing, etc.). The development of IUPUI during these 50 years has been impressive, and my connections have had a significant impact on my professional and personal life. Not only was my daughter born at IU Hospital on the IUPUI campus, but she also graduated from IUPUI! I look forward to seeing the accomplishments at IUPUI in the future!
